MAYO, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday will hold a news conference in Mayo.

The governor will be joined by DEO Secretary Dane Eagle for the news conference at 10 a.m. at the Lafayette County Courthouse.

The topic of discussion has not been released.

The event comes after DeSantis recently signed two bills in Miami to honor “victims of communism.”

“This legislation will make sure that our students and people throughout the state of Florida are reminded about the atrocities committed (communist leaders),” DeSantis said.
