An alleged se* offender who was born male but now identifies as a woman has appeared in court accused of r*ping a little girl.
Transgender woman Maddison Wilson, 37, is accused of abusing the young girl ‘with your p*nis’ in 2011, according to the charge sheet.
Wilson is also accused of se*ually assaulting a boy under the age of 13 around six years later.
The alleged se* offender spoke only to confirm their preferred pronouns of ‘she/her’ in the dock at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The official court charge sheet identifies Wilson as a female. But the wording of the r*pe charge says that Wilson allegedly attacked the girl ‘with your p*nis’.
Wilson arrived at court on Wednesday wearing a pink headband, all-black tracksuit and white sports trainers.
The Portsmouth resident did not enter any pleas and will appear in court again in a fortnight to face the alleged offences against children dating back 14 years.
The alleged se* offender has been charged with r*pe of a girl under 13 and causing or inciting a girl under 13 to engage in se*ual activity.
Both of these alleged incidents took place in Hull in 2011.
Wilson is also accused of se*ual assaulting a boy under the age of 13 and causing or inciting a boy under 13 to engage in se*ual activity, with these offences allegedly happening in Southampton between 2017 and 2020.
Wilson, from Portsmouth, Hants, will appear at Southampton Crown Court for a plea hearing later this month.
