Seminole County woman claims $1M on scratch-off game

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – It’s raining money for one Seminole County woman who won $1 million after purchasing a scratch-off ticket at a Sanford gas station.

Linda Williams, 60, bought her winning “500X The Cash” Scratch-Off game ticket from the Circle K at 2500 South French Ave., the Florida Lottery announced Wednesday.

Williams chose to redeem her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00, lottery officials said.

Officials also said the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
