One person is dead following a shooting on Jacksonville’s north side on Saturday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened on East Altamont Avenue at a house with pillars.
Deputies said it’s unclear at the moment how the shooting happened and they are questioning multiple people about the incident.
This is the second fatal shooting on the north side tonight, but this shooting is not related to the one that happened on Edgewood, which is about seven minutes away.
